Every 10th and 25th day of the Tibetan month we celebrate together from 7 to 8:30 pm with a Guru Puja (tib. Lama Chöpa) and the offering of Tsog.
The practice, chanted in German and Tibetan, was written by the first Panchen Lama Losang Chökyi Gyaltsen (1570-1662) and translated into our language by Dagyab Rinpoche.
In this beneficial and meditative puja, we remember the loving-kindness of all our lineage holders, from Buddha Shakyamuni to Lama Tsongkhapa to our present precious teacher. We offer them completely pure devotion and trust, offer them numerous and wondrous offerings (actually given and mentally imagined), and ask them to continue teaching the path of Dharma to ourselves and all other living beings. By doing this, we receive the blessings of our present teacher and all lineage holders, which is the foundation for all good qualities and further realizations on the path to Buddhahood.
One does not have to have a personal teacher to participate in the practice.
Rafael Ferrer will lead the puja via Zoom.
Participants may arrange an Altar Offering at home.
There will be no screen sharing, please download the texts beforehand and have them ready.
